Campus life is great, but let’s face it – there’s not a lot of time in your busy schedule to make a proper meal, and for those of you out on their own for the first time, it can seem like a daunting task. But college life doesn’t have to mean surviving off of bar food, drive-thrus, and pizza. Here’s a round-up of local and chain restaurants near UT Austin that are quick, delicious, and well-balanced meals.

Ceviche7 Food Truck

A small food cart located in an office parking lot at W 30th and Fruth Streets, Ceviche7 is a Peruvian food gem in Austin. Halal Brothers

A former brick-and-mortar on the East Side, Counter Culture has reopened as a food truck at 2908 Fruth Street, with a pared back menu of their delicious vegan meals.
