Bikes For Kids

Friday morning from 6-10 a.m. JB and Sandy from The JB & Sandy Morning Show will be giving away bikes to less-fortunate children as part of their annual Bikes For Kids program. The giveaway will broadcast live on Mix 94.7 and will be held at Mellow Johnny’s. The following is an excerpt from their blog, so awesome:

“Bikes for Kids is in its 15th year, and we will give away the bikes on Friday morning. The first year they gave away 94 bikes, and it’s grown over the years. This year will mark 14,000 bikes given away and 1.3 million dollars raised over the years thanks to our generous listeners! We got a letter from a listener who nominated a girl named Gloria. Gloria has type 1 diabetes and lives with her mom and grandmother. They are about to be evicted from their apartment because they are so in debt due to medical costs. They are getting a bike this year…”
