Discover: Pease Park

A recent partnership with the the Austin Parks and Recreation Department and the Watershed Protection Department has paved the way for the Pease Park Conservancy to bring major renovations to this beloved hidden gem along Lamar Boulevard. Leading the helm is newly appointed CEO, Kristen Brown, a proud undergraduate and graduate alumna of The University of Texas at Austin with extensive public service experience in Austin and beyond. 

A flood-damaged section of Shoal Creek Trail between 29th and 31st street is now fully restored. 

New 24th Street Bikeway allows trail users to avoid crossing at the 24th and Lamar streetlight.

2,000 trees have already been planted throughout the 84-acre park.
