Blenders & Bowls is the place where families love to hang out.  The food is delicious and nutritious which makes the whole menu kid-friendly—plus they have kid sizes!  Açaí bowls are the go-to at B&B—it is the perfect healthy meal and can often be disguised as dessert for the little ones.  There is open seating, colorful decor, and the friendliest staff.  A win—win for the whole fam!  The Westlake location in particular has the most space for large groups including a family picnic table inside.

Galaxy Cafe
Three locations (South, Central, and Northwest)

Galaxy Cafe was established in South Austin on Brodie Lane. in 2004.  Now with locations on West Lynn St. in Clarksville and on Mesa Drive in Northwest Hills, families consider this a neighborhood gathering spot. The counter service-style concept is popular with parents because it allows the family to dine at their own pace, which can be especially important when eating out with younger children.  Kids menu items are portioned for smaller appetites and include a beverage of choice in a reusable souvenir cup. For those with a sensitive diet, gluten-free items are available as well. Friendly staff are welcoming and enjoy seeing familiar faces.  Call-in orders are conveniently ready in 15-20 minutes for pick up, making Galaxy Cafe a great choice when time doesn't allow for dining in. Breakfast is served starting at 7 a.m. with the restaurants staying open until 9 p.m., serving a menu with lunch and dinner choices. to appease even the pickiest eater.
