Young swimmers across Central Texas will have the opportunity to train with elite coaches and Olympic-caliber talent this summer.
Young swimmers across Central Texas will have the opportunity to train with elite coaches and Olympic-caliber talent this summer at the Arena Summer Sizzler Camp, taking place June 1–4, 2026, at the Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center.
Hosted in partnership with Texas Elite Swimming, TST Swimming, and RaceBetter, the four-day camp is designed to help swimmers sharpen technique, improve race performance, and gain exposure to high-level training methods typically reserved for elite competitors.
The camp will feature instruction from an impressive lineup of coaches and specialists, including U.S. Olympian Shaine Casas, world record holder Matt Wenning, and two Olympic Team coaches. Athletes will also receive professional stroke analysis from a Team USA Olympic coach and nutrition guidance led by Ben Lee, founder of RaceBetter.
Camp organizers say the experience is designed to combine performance-focused instruction with a fun and engaging atmosphere for swimmers of multiple levels. Participants can expect both long-course and short-course pool training, dryland instruction, technical skills and drills sessions, classroom education, and daily activities aimed at building confidence and athletic development.
One standout feature of the program is the comprehensive dryland component powered by RaceBetter, giving swimmers exposure to strength, conditioning, and movement training that complements their in-water performance. Nutritional education and recovery strategies are also expected to play a key role throughout the week.
The camp offers flexible registration options, allowing swimmers to register for anywhere from one to four days at a rate of $50 per session. Lunch will be provided daily, and attendees will also have opportunities to win multiple Arena prizes throughout the week.
With elite coaching access, technical instruction, and a high-energy training environment, the Arena Summer Sizzler Camp is shaping up to be one of the premier youth swimming development events in the Austin and Round Rock area this summer.
