Free Weekly Workouts at Waterloo this Fall Presented by Ascension Seton!

Presented in partnership with Castle Hill Fitness, Esquina Tango, and Aging is Cool

This fall, take part in a variety of body-moving, mind-rejuvenating health and wellness classes at Waterloo Park! Classes will take place weekly on the Love, Tito’s Lawn, the Moody Amphitheater stage, and the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck.

Weekly Workouts at Waterloo are FREE and open to the public. Join us for yoga, meditation, dance, Pilates, cardio, strength, and so much more throughout September and October! Classes are led by mind/body fitness instructors, and all ages and abilities are welcome.

Don’t forget to bring water, your yoga mat or towel, and a friend!

Yoga at Waterloo Park

Self-Care Sundays with Castle Hill Fitness
Location: Meredith Heritage Tree Deck
Date: September 11 – October 30
Time: Sundays | 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Start your Sundays grounded and with intention in the epic living, breathing green space that is Waterloo Park.

Reflect, revive, and recover through an eclectic mix of mindful movement including Qi Gong, yoga, meditation, and sound healing.

Yoga & Sound with Castle Hill Fitness
Location: Love, Tito’s Lawn, Moody Amphitheater
Date: September 12 – October 31
Time: Mondays | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Set some feel-good vibes for the week under the Waterloo Park sky with mindful movement accompanied by sound therapy.

Each week features a different style of yoga and live music that lets you experience the revitalized urban haven around you in a whole new way.

Moody Ampitheater Yoga

Fitness Fun! with Castle Hill Fitness

Turn the energy UP in Waterloo Park with a wild array of workouts that bring on the sweat!

Keep crushing your day with a fabulously fun variety of fitness, dance, or Pilates workouts on an expansive lawn made for moving how you want and grooving how you like.

Latin Dance Social

Latin Dance Lessons with Esquina Tango
Location: Moody Amphitheater
Date: September 20 – October 11
Time: Tuesdays | 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Come learn the structure, etiquette, and culture of a unique variety of Latin dances, such as Tango, Samba, and Cumbia.

You’ll learn about lead-follow connection, master some dance moves, and lose yourself in a mosaic of soul-stirring music. Classes are open to beginners, as well as experienced dancers. No partner needed!

Social Stay Strong

Stay Strong with Aging is Cool
Location: Meredith Heritage Tree Deck (ADA Accessible)
Date: September 7 – November 2
Time: Wednesdays | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Gather under the shade of Waterloo Park’s soaring heritage trees for a 50+ workout that’s all about staying active and engaged. Improve your cardio health, flexibility, and strength while you get to know other active agers in the community.

Led by Damien Temperley of Aging is Cool on the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck at 1301 Trinity St.
