Baby Buggy Walk is a FREE Walk to bring awareness to infant mortality and pregnancy loss and is an event that is held nationally each year. Walkers will enjoy 1 mile walk around the pond – strollers are welcome! The Safe Sleep 5K Run, formerly Rex’s Run, is in memory of Rex Neal Van de Putte who died when he was 5 months old of Sudden Death Syndrome (SIDS.) His family has held Rex’s Run for the past years to raise funds that go to the Southwest SIDS Research Institute whose mission is to end unexpected infant mortality through education, support, medical services and research.
