help in the breast cancer recovery process; inspiring hope and restoring
movement. The class offers a specialized program: one that focuses on gradually
increasing range of motion through the shoulders and strengthening the back.
Each session will help to gently stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest,
back, and abdominal muscles, allowing women to regain and/or maintain a full
range of motion to those areas affected by breast cancer and surgery.
The weekly classes are held in Ballet Austin’s beautiful
center for dance and community wellness located at 501 W. 3rd St in downtown
Austin, a non-medical, happy, mainstream environment that allows for
encouragement and rehabilitation.
We look forward to being a part of your full recovery*.

connects you with people, and keeps you independent. We care about helping you
to discover simple ways to prevent falls.
Improvement in your balance can reduce and even prevent
falls. Good balance can relieve the fear and worry of moving around. As a
result, you will have greater independence and overall well-being.
This 4-week workshop will focus on promoting and maintaining
better balance, coordination, and posture through a series of simple brain and
muscle exercises. We will make it challenging, but fun!
Instructor: Vicki Parsons, Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for
Dance & Fitness Director and Certified Brain Health Trainer and Certified
Functional Aging Specialist from the Functional Aging Institute.

The steps you take are important. Walking gets you places,
connects you with people, and keeps you independent. We care about helping you
to discover simple ways to prevent falls.
Improvement in your balance can reduce and even prevent
falls. Good balance can relieve the fear and worry of moving around. As a
result, you will have greater independence and overall well-being.
This 4-week workshop will focus on promoting and maintaining
better balance, coordination, and posture through a series of simple brain and
muscle exercises. We will make it challenging, but fun!
Instructor: Vicki Parsons, Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for
Dance & Fitness Director and Certified Brain Health Trainer and Certified
Functional Aging Specialist from the Functional Aging Institute.

The workshop includes a weekly class that offers rehabilitative
help in the breast cancer recovery process; inspiring hope and restoring
movement. The class offers a specialized program: one that focuses on gradually
increasing range of motion through the shoulders and strengthening the back.
Each session will help to gently stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest,
back, and abdominal muscles, allowing women to regain and/or maintain a full
range of motion to those areas affected by breast cancer and surgery.
The weekly classes are held in Ballet Austin’s beautiful
center for dance and community wellness located at 501 W. 3rd St in downtown
Austin, a non-medical, happy, mainstream environment that allows for
encouragement and rehabilitation.
We look forward to being a part of your full recovery*.

The steps you take are important. Walking gets you places,
connects you with people, and keeps you independent. We care about helping you
to discover simple ways to prevent falls.
Improvement in your balance can reduce and even prevent
falls. Good balance can relieve the fear and worry of moving around. As a
result, you will have greater independence and overall well-being.
This 4-week workshop will focus on promoting and maintaining
better balance, coordination, and posture through a series of simple brain and
muscle exercises. We will make it challenging, but fun!
Instructor: Vicki Parsons, Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for
Dance & Fitness Director and Certified Brain Health Trainer and Certified
Functional Aging Specialist from the Functional Aging Institute.

The steps you take are important. Walking gets you places,
connects you with people, and keeps you independent. We care about helping you
to discover simple ways to prevent falls.
Improvement in your balance can reduce and even prevent
falls. Good balance can relieve the fear and worry of moving around. As a
result, you will have greater independence and overall well-being.
This 4-week workshop will focus on promoting and maintaining
better balance, coordination, and posture through a series of simple brain and
muscle exercises. We will make it challenging, but fun!
Instructor: Vicki Parsons, Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for
Dance & Fitness Director and Certified Brain Health Trainer and Certified
Functional Aging Specialist from the Functional Aging Institute.

Get GROUNDED at downtown’s Fareground every Tuesday evening with fitness programming powered by Swift Fit Events. Every week we’ll host high-intensity workouts in our outdoor plaza space just off of Congress and Cesar Chavez.
Classes are free and open to the public with ticket registration. After class grab a bite from one of the many Fareground food stalls and check out Swift Fit Event’s Texas Wellness retail cart full of locally sourced feel-good gifts for yourself (and others!).
Towels and water will be provided.
Parking: Downtown street parking is free after 6 PM on Tuesdays. Fareground visitors can park at the One Eleven Garage at 206 E Cesar Chavez St with entry off of Brazos St, 50% off daily rates with purchase from one of the Fareground food or drink outlets.
Danielle Gertner’s Primal Pump: high-intensity movement class. This bodyweight-style boot camp is unlike any workout class you’ve ever experienced before. Danielle (aka Coach Gert) uses her love for bodyweight movements and animal flow to bring you a one-of-a-kind experience that focuses on building strength, power, speed, and mobility all while having the time of your life.
Corey Lawson’s Boot Camp. Can we fit strength, agility, mobility, and FUN into one session? There’s only one way to find out. Coach Corey’s boot camp combines bodyweight leg workouts and athletic cardio for an all-around – so bring your tennis shoes! He’ll see you at Fareground!
