The way you breathe — the rhythm of your respiration, its anatomical
and emotional dimensions, the biomechanical means and neurophysical

These reactions turn into physical habits, which become automatic,
persistent, and invisible to you — because they happen below the

About Gioconda
Gioconda has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20
years. She was the lead teacher in the first teacher training program in
a prominent Austin yoga studio, and has continued to lead and develop
more training programs and international retreats. Gioconda has a
Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology, and is a Somatic Experiencing
Practitioner since 2016.
Gioconda teaches Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, Partnered Thai Massage,
meditation and pranayama, the foundations of Ayurveda, and is
well-studied in the Yoga Sutras and other significant yogic texts. She
is an eternal student, and has found this supports her continued passion

Your chakras are your energetic centers that run from the base of

assault. Kajukenbo is a combination of five different martial arts. It
is the blending of the “most lethal” aspects of karate, judo, jiu jitsu,
Chinese kenpo, and kung fu.
You can expect partner work and close personal contact to simulate
real-life situations. All participants are responsible and supported in
setting their own limits and level of comfort. The confidence you will

This course is intended to introduce the beginner yogi to the world
of yoga, and to reintroduce those who’ve been off their mats for an
extended time. In Leti’s series, you’ll dive deep into the basic
postures and start from the ground up. Through detailed deep work, you
will explore each pose and work safely and progressively through basic
to intermediate postures. You will leave with the confidence to attend a
public class or begin your own home practice.

Leti
is an E-RYT 500, International Retreat leader, Teacher Trainer, and is
currently working on her accreditation for Yoga Therapy. She loves yoga

reflects her personality but also her deep desire to support her

This yoga class will focus on each of the seven chakras with
movement, sound, and meditation, taking you on a journey of
self-awareness and discovery, and helping you bring yourself back into
balance.
Your chakras are your energetic centers that run from the base of
your spine to the top of your head and correspond with your nerve
bundles and internal organs. When a chakra is blocked or out of balance,
you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to that
chakra. This monthly class will provide you with a general understanding
of your own chakra system through an active and immersive yoga
practice, which will help increase your self-awareness and connection to
your physical and energetic body, as well as provide you with an
overall feeling of restored balance.
