Event Details

Join us for an Active Aging Workout focusing on strengthening bone, strengthening and stretching muscle with hand weights and resistance bands, and boosting cardio during the class. The workout is great for cognitive function as well!

ALL levels welcome! Modification is always encouraged! Wherever you are in your workout journey please come!

Offered at NO COST due to underwriting from St. David’s Foundation AGING WELL Program.

Simple and safe weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening exercises specifically geared towards the active aging adult (ages 50 ) in a fun and supportive environment.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE CLASS:

  • Hand Weights (provided by Ballet Austin)
  • Resistance Band (bring your own or we sell them at the front desk)
  • Comfortable workout clothing
  • A sturdy sneakers
  • A smile and a great attitude!
