Event Details

Improvement in your balance can reduce and even prevent
falls. Good balance can relieve the fear and worry of moving around. As a
result, you will have greater independence and overall well-being.

This 4-week workshop will focus on promoting and maintaining
better balance, coordination, and posture through a series of simple brain and
muscle exercises. We will make it challenging, but fun!

Better Balance & Movement™, developed by Butler Center
for Dance & Fitness Director Vicki Parsons, is excellent for adults of all
ages, although geared towards adults age 50 plus. It is also beneficial for
those dealing with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease,
multiple sclerosis, and stroke.

 

Cost:  NO COST to
enroll in the 4-week workshop thanks to underwriting by Aging Well, a program
of St. David’s Foundation Community Fund.
