*Wasabi is made from the wasabi plant, native to Japan. Wasabi found in the U.S. is usually pre-made, not fresh, and contains horseradish, mustard, and a starch (generally corn starch). You may want to check with the restaurant to ensure the wasabi used does not contain wheat as a thickening agent.
