Founder and Owner Valentina Gaylord’s primary mission in opening THE LAGREE STUDIO was to provide a place where her clients could come to not only get into the best shape of their lives, but to rehabilitate their bodies, revitalize their souls and embrace and recapture their passion for life, love, health, and wellness. In addition, she uses her physiological nursing knowledge to help restore people to good health and long-term wellness. We are also a local continuing education/host advising studio for one of the most rigorous and oldest Pilates teacher training programs in the country, The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado. JoyMoves is a boutique Pilates studio located on South 360 near the Barton Creek Mall. The studio was founded by Shoshana Goldstein in 2006. In 2013 Shoshana was voted Best Pilates Instructor by the readers of Austin Fit Magazine. In that same year JoyMoves won best Pilates Studio in Austin.

JoyMoves specializes in classical Pilates, offered in a private and semi-private Pilates session format. This enables us to tailor instruction to the needs of the particular client or clients. JoyMoves’ clients span all body types and ages, as well as from elite athletes to those with special considerations.

All Pilates sessions at JoyMoves are taught by Shoshana Goldstein – a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor with extensive experience. Shoshana completed her Comprehensive Certification in Pilates through Peak Pilates of Boulder Colorado in 2007. In 2010, she completed the Pilates Excel program in Safe Spine Techniques offered by Rebecca Leone. In 2015, she finished a Master's level Pilates teacher training program through Shari Berkowitz's Vertical Workshop. Shoshana's teaching focuses on applying modern biomechanics and an understanding of physiology to Pilates. She was the Austin Regional Board Member for the Texas Pilates Association for 2015/2016. Shoshana also regularly helps mentor Pilates apprentices.
