By Contributor – October 3, 2013

GENaustin – the Girls Empowerment Network of Austin – is proud to present our annual, statewide “We Are Girls” Conference, which helps girls grades 5-12 – and the adults who care about them – explore the issues of bullying, body image and being a girl. We offer skill-building workshops and dynamic presentations on topics including: creating healthy relationships, building financial and media literacy, enhancing parent-daughter relationships and increasing positive body image and health and wellness. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity, and wise words from our keynote speaker, Marlen Esparza – 2012 U.S. Boxing Olympic Champion – about how to “Embrace Your Inner Strength!”
