Take Your Diet on a Mediterranean Vacation

Mediterranean food is delicious, easy and perfect for summer time. And there’s a reason it’s considered one of the healthiest diets in the world: full of fruits, vegetables, fish and little meat, people who live on a Mediterranean diet are less likely to have heart problems or be obese.

So what does a ‘traditional’ Mediterranean diet consist of? Here’s a visual:

High in fruits, vegetables, nuts, most of the fat comes from olive oil and go easy on the red meat and processed sugars.
