Dr. Mark Denesha believes the most important component to his business is attention to detail.
The 42-year-old physical therapist has worked in various environments over the years – both as a clinic director and supervisor – and what he’s found is that you can never replace great service.
“I don’t ever want my clients to feel like they’re lost in the mix,” said Dr. Denesha, who moved to Austin from Brooklyn, New York with his wife in December of 2020. “I devote my time to understanding their situation and researching their injuries.”
That business principle is what pushed Dr. Denesha to found Forever Forward Physical Therapy, a top-rated physical therapy business in Central Texas, three years ago.
Originally constructed to provide mobile treatments, Dr. Denesha would conduct physical therapy sessions inside a Ford Transit that he converted into a mobile clinic. Forever Forward pivoted to provide concierge 1-on-1 sessions from the comfort of his client’s homes.
His core principles include attention to detail and bringing convenience to his customers.
“My clients can expect to receive high-quality PT care and my full attention, all without having to battle the traffic in Austin,” Dr. Denesha said.
Today, Dr. Denesha’s primary goal is to bring exceptional service to his client base and to educate them on what it takes to get there.
“People think you need a ton of equipment to rehab injuries,” Dr. Denesha said. “That’s not the case. We’re always able to find ways to reach their goals using minimal equipment and doing simple exercises at home. A tailored routine to address the root cause of their complaints makes this possible.
Dr. Denesha works with clients across the Austin and Greater Metro Area, while his business offers a range of services, including dry needling, manual therapy, strength training, neuro-muscular reeducation and IASTM.
“I’m a big proponent of exercise and empowering patients to buy-in,” Dr. Denesha said. “Our bodies are strong and resilient, and when introduced to the appropriate stimuli and novel movement patterns, it will adapt.”
He routinely treats individuals with orthopedic injuries that range from ankle sprains to total hip replacements. Dr. Denesha also treats people of all ages, his youngest being 15 and his oldest 93. You can find Forever Forward’s full range of services on its website.
Dr. Denesha, a former college basketball player and U.S. Army veteran, says that sports and physical activity have been a constant throughout his life. He’s been a licensed physical therapist for nearly a decade. Dr. Denesha has recently joined the pickleball craze and has been playing for nearly a year. He regularly works at pickleball tournaments and treats the participants throughout Texas.
“All of that has shaped my practice and how I approach treatment,” he said.
Forever Forward accepts insurance from both Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Medicare. Any first-time clients of Forever Forward Physical Therapy who mention this story in Austin Fit Magazine can receive $100 off their initial assessment.
