Mesotherapy Injection Gun

If a doctor injecting medicine to reduce unsightly fat seems bizarre to you, it’s time to look past the needles and discover mesotherapy. Despite whatever preconceptions you may have about the procedure, mesotherapy is a non-invasive, pain-free and praiseworthy answer to reducing cellulite.

The technique was invented in 1952 by a French doctor who injected medication into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue beneath the skin. Now it’s used across the United States for anything from spot weight-loss reduction to scar revision.
Mike Clark, owner of Natural Bio Health Medical Clinic, promotes the procedure as a method for losing weight and eliminating fat and cellulite. “Clients lose about four inches, ranging anywhere from one to eight inches,” he says. “It’s pretty significant.”

Mesotherapy is especially helpful when compared to conventional weight-loss methods, since it hones in on pesky areas that most people have difficulty getting rid of, including love handles, back fat and cellulite under the chin. “It’s fat that they are not going to exercise off,” Clark says.

Considering the risks associated with liposuction, mesotherapy is a relatively non-threatening alternative. All injections are FDA-approved and combinations of medicines and plant extracts are obtained from local pharmaceutical companies. The only side effects known currently are occasional bruising and swelling that is localized to the treatment area.

While the needle shock may scare some clients away, Clark emphasizes the painless nature of the procedure and speaks from personal experience. “There is a topical anesthetic, but it’s usually unnecessary,” he says.

Dr. Gary Alberston, president of the National Society of Bariatric Physicans and a physician at Natural Bio Health, advises four to six treatments to get rid of the fat, though it can vary with every client. According to Albertson, the fat starts dissolving after the first treatment.

While mesotherapy can eliminate fat, it’s important for people to remember it’s up to them to keep the weight off. Clark says the procedure works best for people that do not gain weight easily or more than eight pounds annually. He provides his clients with healthy eating tips as well as supplements to help them reach their weight-loss goals.

So if you’re tired of constant exercise or don’t feel you can go through with plastic surgery, perhaps it’s time to look into mesotherapy. The injections are an uncomplicated method to get you looking your best.
