Cycling Association ride. At 9 a.m., meet in Bertram
(10 miles NW of Liberty Hill on Hwy 29) at Bertram Elementary
School on FM 1174/243 0.5-mile north of SH 29 on the right
(parking lot is behind the school) for rides of 23 and 51
miles. Spin past the historic fort (built by Black) that provided
settlers with shelter from Apache attacks. Ride the gentle
hills of the Edwards Plateau and what is, in essence, the

Kid Fish.
This is the 12th annual, free fishing event for children 4
to 16 years of age, with all tackle supplied. Fish for hungry
rainbow trout stocked in the Landmark millstream. Special
programs include the San Antonio Zoo outreach program from

must accompany children, but fishing is for children only.
The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; fee is $2 for adults,

there is a new revision of an old route. Meet at Dripping
Springs ISD Administration building, on the north side of

Creek and then climb across the Great Divide into the Blanco
River Basin, offering one of the most spectacular cycling
