Mission to Mission “Wheels for Meals”
On Dec. 4, riders will pedal by the San Antonio River, along the historic Mission Trail to Mission Concepción all the way down to Mission Espada. There is a 12-mile family ride and a 34-mile route. Those on the 34-mile tour proceed past Espada onto Hwy 181 to Braunig Lake and back. The race starts at 10 a.m. at Mission County Park (East White and Padre Street behind San Jose Mission) in San Antonio. For more information, call 210.271.7000.

Dirty Duathlon #1
Rocky Hill Ranch once again will be the kick-off race in the dirty duathlon series in Smithville, Texas. On Saturday, Dec. 4, the event consists of a three-mile trail run, 12-mile mountain bike, followed by another three-mile trail run. If you’ve done the muddy buddy, this is the next step up. We also offer a relay category which starts at 10 a.m. for those who only ride or run, but not both. For more information, contact John Hill at 797.7581 or visit www.uphillproductions.com.
