Marathon
Kids Kick-Off |

This year, the free Marathon Kids program
is expecting 35,000 registered kindergartners
through fifth Graders to complete the project.
Their annual free Kick-Off celebration will
take place at the University of Texas Mike
Myers Track and Field Stadium on Saturday,
September 18 at 9 a.m. During the next six
months the children will color in the Marathon
Kids Running Log. They will log each time
they run a quarter or half mile, eventually
totaling 26.2 miles over the next six months.
They also log when they eat five fruits
or vegetables in a day. This program aims
to help kids adopt a more active lifestyle
and eat healthily no matter what their current
fitness level may be. Come be a part of

Wild Goose Qigong Qigong

The Wright House Wellness Center

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center: Conservation
Development Symposium. Land in Texas is being developed
at an alarming rate. Rapid growth has placed a tremendous
demand on housing needs as well as our natural resources,
and conservation development is one of the innovative ways

The goal of the Conservation Symposium is to move conservation

SheClimbs. Female rock climbers from across the United States
and Canada will assemble at the Enchanted Rock State Natural
Area near Fredericksburg for the annual SheClimbs Annual Gathering.
This women-only event will feature workshops, climbing clinics
and more than 600 different trad, sport and bouldering routes
varying from easy to expert. Climbers can choose from slabs
to practice friction climbing or cracks for traditional climbing.
