Join us May 8 at 8 a.m. for the 21st Annual Hot to Trot 5K and Kids’ K on Lake Austin at Lucy’s Boatyard and Hula Hut. The race benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. Fees are $17 for the timed run, $15 for the fun run, $17 for the timed wheelchair race and $8 for the Kids’ K. Packet pick-up and registration will take place at Hula Hut and Lucy’s Boatyard on Lake Austin Boulevard May 3 through May 7, from noon to 8 p.m. or on race day at 7 a.m. Free daycare will be provided during the 5K. daisy 5K
Celebrate Mother’s Day, May 9, at 8 a.m.with Austin’s oldest race. Bring your mom, girlfriend or any special woman in your life and join us for a day of fun activities benefitting Any Baby Can. There will be something for the entire family. The Daisy 5K has historically been an all-female race, but men can participate to honor their moms, too! (A.B.I.A.) runway 5K
Prepare to take off on May 23 at 8 a.m. on the fastest course in Austin at the A.B.I.A. Runway 5K. Racers will run or walk the airport’s west runway. Come and see the airport from a different view! It’s fun for the whole family. Fees are $25 for chip-timed and wheelchair entries and $20 for the fun run. Packets may be picked up at Run-Tex, Riverside, located at 422 W. Riverside Dr., and Run-Tex Round Rock located at 220 Sundance Parkway, Ste. 100, on May 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m, May 21 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and May 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Race-day registration will take place from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. Participants may register online at www.signmeup.com/24691 until May 19. MEMORIAL 5K
The Memorial 5K, benefitting For the Love of Christi, a non-profit, non-denominational, grief support program. The race consists of a 5K cross-country run (chip-timed), a 5K walk and a Kids’ K, May 29 at 7:30 a.m. Enjoy food, entertainment and a chance to win door prizes at this meaningful and exciting event. The race will take place at Old Settler’s Park, located at 2800 E. Palm Valley Road in Round Rock. The cross-country race (chip-timed) will begin at 7:30 a.m., the Kids’ K will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K walk will start at 9 a.m. Entry fees are $20 for the 5K run and $25 on race day, $15 for the 5K walk and $20 on race day and $7 for the Kids’ K and $10 on race day. Register by mail until May 21, online until May 25 and in-person until May 28 at Run-Tex, located at 422 W. Riverside Drive or Run-Tex Round Rock, located at 220 Sundance Parkway, Ste. 100.
