Whether you are working off the holiday bulge, maintaining a solid nutritional routine, or just trying to improve your current eating habits, the chances are at some point you have regretted a moment of overindulgence.  Even the most disciplined of dieters, the fittest of the fit, have the occasional dalliance with a nutritional nightmare.  One of the easiest ways to make smart choices is to have the knowledge to do so.  The next time 3 p.m. rolls around and you find yourself in front a spread of baked goods in the break room, or dreaming about the arrival of Happy Hour, you will be armed with knowledge, prepared to defend your waistline!

Pure Austin is currently hosting a short lecture series entitled: The Three Demons: How Sugar, Alcohol, and Processed Food Effect Your Health.  The lectures, lead by Laura CaJacobs (AFM’s Readers’ Choice for Best Austin Nutritionist), will help you understand exactly how these “Three Demons” can affect your waistline, your workouts, and your overall health.

The one hour lectures will be hosted at Pure Austin's Downtown location on Thursday, January 20, Thursday, January 27, and Thursday, February 3, from 6-7 p.m.  At Pure Austin's Quarry Lake location, the lectures take place on on Monday, January 17, Monday, January 24, and Monday, January 31, from 6-7 p.m.  The lectures series is $60 for members and $70 for nonmembers, with an additional $10 fee for day-of registration.  Individual lectures can be attended for $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
