eOs Dermatology

You’re running, working out, eating right and feeling great physically and mentally. Now might be the time to add a routine to care for the largest organ in your body, and one of the most overlooked: your skin.

Dr. Steven Rasmussen, a board-certified dermatologist, is the medical director at eOs Dermatology by Austin Regional Clinic. Dr. Rasmussen provides on-site supervision for a team of highly-skilled aestheticians who work with him to help you achieve youthful, healthy skin that reflects your fitness lifestyle.

“It’s important for you to not only look good but to achieve optimum skin health,” Dr. Rasmussen says. “At eOs, we work with you to select the services that are right for your skin type and lifestyle. Protection from the sun is one of the most important ways to prevent premature aging throughout your life and is even more important when you’re active outdoors.”

He advises healthy athletes to think about the following:

Protection
Get a full-body skin exam every year to identify and treat potential skin cancers and wear sunscreen every day. Choose the correct product for your skin type and cover all exposed surfaces. Let the eOs experts help you choose effective, medical-grade products that really work.

Correction
If you already have skin damage, we can help. eOs offers a full range of rejuvenating treatments from chemical peels to photofacial resurfacing to laser treatments. These can remove skin blemishes, including freckles and brown spots.

Smooth Skin
Many fitness enthusiasts shave almost every day for comfort and speed while exercising. Laser hair removal permanently reduces unwanted hair while eliminating the discomfort of daily shaving.

A Healthy Glow
Blocking sun damage is essential to good skin health, but it’s hard to be healthy and fit and look pale. If you want a tan to show off your healthy body, get it the safe way with a sunless airbrush tan. It gives you a great, healthy tan without exposure to and damage from ultraviolet rays.

eOs Dermatology is a natural fit for those who want healthy skin to complement healthy bodies. Call 512.482.9344 for a complimentary med spa consultation.
