Q&A With Monica
Q: Did you get your butt kicked?
A: A little bit. It was hard to keep my heart rate up because it takes some time to learn the movements and to try them. It’s very tough though and I left feeling pretty worn out. It is NOT easy. Miss Natasha and Sarah make it look easy though.
Q: Did you get your butt kicked?
A: Yes, as usual, the trainers really pushed me! But that’s what I am there for, so definitely expected.
Q: Was it fun?
A: Yes. Of course I enjoy most any workout. I must be a nut!
Q: What was the hardest part of the workout?
A: Those ropes!
Q: Was the workout mentally or physically tough?
A: Both actually, because you have to pay attention to the hand rotations and movements.
Q: What part of your body did it work the most?
A: Kettlebells work all of you, especially if you do the exercises correctly.
Q: What was your favorite part of the workout?
A: Teasing Henry, ha ha. Seriously though, it might be mastering the plyo box at 36 inches tall.
Q: Your least favorite part?
A: Those ropes!
Q: The most challenging part?
A: Those ropes!
Q: Would you do the workout again?
A: Yes, and have been back a few times already to work with Christine and Henry.
Q: Had you every done anything like it before?
A: Yes, I went through the IKFF Certification course with Steve Cotter and Ken Blackburn last January. It was fun to be refreshed on what I learned and to see that I hadn’t forgotten it all.
Q: What movements did you learn for the first time?
A: Indian Clubs and some new kettlebell movements.
Q: Could you have done it alone?
A: Some of the movements I’ve already incorporated into my own workouts.
Q: How effective was the trainer?
A: They both were excellent and provided lots of productive feedback on form and were really motivating. You can tell they both love what they do, believe in it and enjoy sharing the workouts with their clients.
Q: What from the workout would you recommend?
A: I have already told my friends to head over for some workouts. This is fun stuff and really different than the average gym workout. Everyone can benefit from this and gain lots of strength for the entire body.
Q: Any parting thoughts?
A: Stay Fit, Love Life and God Bless U!! And shout out to Sparrow. Pain is just weakness exiting the body! xo MO
