Q&A With Monica

Q: Did you get your butt kicked?

A: A little bit. It was hard to keep my heart rate up because it takes some time to learn the movements and to try them. It’s very tough though and I left feeling pretty worn out. It is NOT easy. Miss Natasha and Sarah make it look easy though.

Q: Was it fun?

A: Absolutely! Wait until you see the DVD. I’m laughing most of the time, especially when the poles are spinning.

Q: What was the hardest part of the workout?

A: Some of the holds where my left hand had to be dominant were pretty hard and anything where I had to extend my legs (believe it or not). I haven’t been stretching as much as usual. The holidays got the best of me!

Q: Was the workout mentally or physically tough?

A: Physically.

Q: What part of your body did it work the most?

A: Upper body is where I felt most exerted.

Q: What was your favorite part of the workout?

A: The aerial ring.

Q: Your least favorite part?

A: Actually none of it. I liked it alll!

Q: The most challenging part?

A: All of the holds are challenging. You have to know how to tense your entire body at once to make them happen.

Q: Would you do the workout again?

A: Love to.

Q: Had you ever done anything like it before?

A: Only at a party in Vegas where the host had a suite with a pole in the living room! A bunch of gals were messing around on it.

Q: What movements did you learn for the first time?

A: All of the movements were new to me. Having done a little gymnastics in the past helped me understand how to make my body move though.

Q: Could you have done it alone?

A: I’d have to get one of those poles/aerial rings. I really don’t think my hubby would mind though. Haha.

Q: How effective was the trainer?

A: Miss Natasha and Sarah were both very good, patient, funny and encouraging. They were both effective.

Q: What from the workout would you recommend?

A: All of it. I’d like to bring my friends in to Brass Ovaries.

Q: Any parting thoughts?

A: Stay Fit, Love Life and God Bless U!!
